Project Manager/Estimator

Job Overview
McNamara Contracting has an opening for a Project Manager/Estimator to join our team. It is the mission of McNamara Contracting to be the infrastructure contractor of choice in the markets we serve. Our knowledgeable and professional team will assist our valuable customers from project design through project completion ensuring customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of all project stakeholders. This includes, but is not limited to team members, subcontractors, the general public, and owners’ representatives
• Collaborate with other leadership in scheduling work on projects under your control while considering all company projects and resources
• Maintain and grow positive relationships with project owners, subcontractors, and all team members
• Work with project owners, or their representatives, and our internal accounting team to create timely and accurate pay estimates and invoices
• Support forepersons and crews by providing direction and information necessary for crews to efficiently complete daily work assignments
• Provide estimates and pricing that are fair, competitive, profitable and utilize our competitive advantages
• Complete administrative requirements of contracts. Including: contract negotiation, submittals, scheduling, preconstruction and weekly meetings, utility locates
• Implement new means and methods that improve safety, efficiency, and accuracy on projects and in administration
• Year-round position with demand significantly higher in the construction season (April through November). Expect weekly hours during the season to be around 60 (including Saturdays) and 40 or less hours during the off season.
• Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication
• 3 year of Project Management and/or Estimator experience
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Preferred ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50#
• Ability to work outdoors all seasons of the year
• Must be legally allowed to work in the U.S.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check

Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
