What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeping Assistant-Independent Contractor position at McNeely Agency?
Busy property management/real estate office looking for an independent contractor experienced with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing and reviewing financial transactions such as accounts payable and receivable using QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
- Maintaining complete and accurate financial records.
- Reconciling bank statements.
- Preparing monthly statements of accounting as well as income and expense reports using Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks.
- Handle insurance renewals, acquiring estimates, tax preparation.
- Assist with customer service, answer, direct and log incoming calls when necessary.
- Property Management bookkeeping experience a plus.
Must have:
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Extensive knowledge of QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Must be able to work independently.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
