McNees is a dynamic and forward-thinking professional services firm, seeking a talented IT Training Coordinator to join our Information Technology team.
JOB SUMMARY: The Training Coordinator is responsible for providing efficient, informative, and up-to-date training opportunities to all Firm attorneys and staff. In keeping with the technology aspects of the trainer role, this position also provides a level of backup support to the Information Technology Department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: "Essential functions" are primarily job duties that incumbents must be able to perform unassisted or with some reasonable accommodation made by the employer.
- To impart knowledge and provide instruction in the use of the Firm's information technology business tools, processes and procedures to all users and to help minimize support requests is the overall goal of the Trainer.
- Schedule one-on-one training as needed or requested.
- Identify mandatory staff training needs and coordinate with the HR Business Partner or Sr. Director of People Operations to ensure staff attend as needed.
- Perform routine training and support visits to regional offices as needed or requested.
- Monitor training effectiveness. Assess training needs and specialized requirements and provide reporting as requested.
- Develop, maintain, and ensure availability of class schedules and materials.
- Expand and enhance the training programs and delivery methods by using creativity, peer, and user group ideas, interviewing users, becoming familiar with business operations and processes, attending conferences and seminars, reading periodicals and reference materials, etc.
- Maintain and advertise a class schedule in a timely manner, monitor personnel class scheduling, and maintain a record of Firm personnel's attendance.
- Provide backup help desk duties as requested in order to maintain field experience and to identify staff training needs further.
- Maintain excellent communications with IT personnel regarding upcoming projects and emerging technologies and engage as needed in projects where a trainer can benefit from hands-on exposure.
- Assist with other department projects and provide back-up to other team functions as needed.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Ability to maintain strict adherence to confidentiality of matters or items of heightened sensitivity.
- Proficient with the use of all MS Office products and possess a keen sense of rising technologies. Must have the ability to grasp and deliver additional trained technology applications.
- Demonstrated patience, creativity, and advanced verbal/written skills, with an ability to conduct training information under a variety of delivery methods.
- Must be able to work independently, organizing and prioritizing numerous projects and programs with minimal supervision. Must exhibit strong attention to detail and accuracy while working in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. Must apply these skills in a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate with and provide instruction effectively to a diverse group of clients, attorneys, coworkers, and staff. Ability to interact with others respectfully and professionally and to provide excellent customer service.
- Must possess a strong work ethic as a reliable team player, able to adhere to an employer-set work schedule. While this position has set work hours, some schedule flexibility may be required of the employee in order to adequately administer projects or issues that arise within the scope of duties.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of associate's degree in a relevant area or equivalent work experience is required.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Normal law office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, extreme temperature, and the like.
Work Hours & Environment
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (1-hour lunch break).
- Flexibility: Hybrid remote options available.
- Travel: Travel to any/all McNees locations may occasionally be required.

Compensation
The annual salary range for this position is $72,000-$100,800. Your compensation will be based on several factors, including education, work experience, and certifications.
