    Position Duties / Responsibilities

    The Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) Administrator is responsible for functions related to the implementation, management and refinement of the University's CRM system to identify, establish, build, track, analyze and manage relationships through the constituent lifecycle. The CRM Administrator acts as a technical resource for maintaining and growing the organization's CRM usage, connected third-party applications, and other cloud-based software solutions. The CRM Administrator is responsible for system wide administration, development, security and support of the University's CRM solution, including : developing and managing the development of new functionality; managing security models; managing data migrations and data cleansing; coordinating and leading sessions within the organization on release improvements; developing training materials and providing training to end users; develop customized solutions within the platform; providing technical support and troubleshoot application related issues. The CRM administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of the University's CRM platforms.

    This position will cover the roles of technical project manager, administrator, trainer, and analyst. This role works closely with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify, develop and deploy new business processes, technologies and strategies to improve and optimize marketing, recruitment and admissions efforts. This role works with the Office of Information Technology to help support data integration efforts and develop or deploy new features and customized solutions for critical business functions. A person is needed to fill this position that can :

  • Manage data migrations, imports, integrity and manipulation tasks. This includes building and maintaining crosswalks / data translation, identifying, researching and troubleshooting feed errors, and inspecting and correcting data files
  • Perform database management including hygiene, segmentation, targeting and troubleshooting within the CRM and other related technology solutions
  • Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, maintain validation rules and custom processes / flows. Create and manage custom objects, fields, and formulas Create and manage field dependencies, conditional logic and assignment rules on all user-facing forms
  • Analyze CRM processes and procedures and prepare recommendations for improvements and develop customized solutions within the platform to ensure that critical business functions are supported, project objectives and college goals are met, and business needs are addressed with efficient, effective solutions. This includes determining and documenting business user requirements and performing hands-on solution design, prototyping, and proof-of-concepts, as required in support of current and new CRM projects
  • Work with internal and external staff to use the CRM in an efficient, effective manner. Identify best practices in the use of the CRM and disseminate them to end users. Manage access rights for staff and consultants for the CRM system. Provide high-quality end user support to users of the CRM
  • Participate with the Integration Developers on integrations to / from CRM systems with other enterprise systems
  • Help establish long-term strategic goals for high-quality data and effective data usage
  • Collaborate and work in conjunction with the offices of University Marketing and Licensing and Public Relations / University Events to ensure automated communications have a consistent voice, cohesive messaging, branding and design, and current, live links to support and engagement resources for constituents.
  • Collaborate and work in conjunction with the offices of University Marketing and Licensing and Public Relations / University Events to develop, implement and refine a comprehensive communications plan for prospective students, parents, counselors and other targeted audiences from the initial contact phase to the student orientation phase
  • Required / Preferred Qualifications

    Required :

  • Current full-time employee of McNeese State University
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Three years full-time professional work experience in education, business, or other industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing demands and priorities
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to deadlines in a fast-paced work setting
  • Preferred :

  • Master's degree
  • Prior experience working with a CRM, databases, Excel files and similar technology tools
  • Work experience in higher education
