Sales Account Manager

Do you have experience selling high performance hoses in the US transportation market? We are in search of a Sales Account Manager with a track record of driving new business growth, maintaining strong customer relationships, and expanding market share. Based in either your Midwest location or our California offices, you will represent Purosil USA, working collaboratively with internal teams to deliver solutions.
This is a high-impact role, requiring strong leadership, strategic thinking, and relationship management skills. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be the primary driver of sales growth for the organization and an important contributor to customer satisfaction.
This position will require travel to meet with clients and attend trade shows, and regular video-conference meetings to ensure alignment with internal teams and processes. If not based in Corona, California, you will be required to attend in person meetings and training at our California location monthly or quarterly as needed. Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with the company’s strategic goals, working under the direction of the General Manager and in collaboration with Marketing and Global Sales teams.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure continuous growth.
- Serve as the primary point of communication between key customers and internal teams, including Engineering, Production, Quality, and Customer Service.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues related to quality, logistics, and supply chain to maintain trust and satisfaction.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and customer audits.
- Utilize ERP and CRM systems to manage customer data, track sales activities, and generate clear and concise reports on sales progress and forecasts.
- Access customer portals to retrieve and analyze critical information.
- Travel as required to meet with customers, prospects, and attend trade shows. International travel may be required.
- Report on key metrics, KPIs, and initiatives during regular management meetings.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards while promoting continuous improvement in sales processes.
- Review and interpret technical documents, including safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals, to support customer needs and internal processes.
- Be able to travel. You will need a driver’s license, passport, your own credit card, and a driving record acceptable to our insurance company.
We Need Your Experience to Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. Engineering or other technical degree preferred.
- 5 years of experience in technical sales, with a preference for experience in rubber product or hose and/or in the manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, industrial sectors.
- Proven ability to adopt technology solutions in sales, including CRM platforms and office productivity software (MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to generate data-driven insights and reports.
- Experience with ERP systems, CRM tools, and cloud database systems.
- A self-starter with a sense of urgency and a results-driven approach.
- Stable work history demonstrating consistent performance.
