Job Summary :
McPherson Center for Health is seeking a passionate Director to lead and drive continuous quality improvement efforts throughout our healthcare organization. The Quality Improvement Director will oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of quality improvement programs, policies, and procedures to ensure high standards of patient care and safety are consistently met. This individual will work closely with medical, clinical, and administrative teams to foster a culture of excellence in patient outcomes, staff performance, and organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety, care outcomes, and overall service delivery.
- Develop, maintain, and manage the hospital’s quality improvement plan, ensuring it aligns with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
- Oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting of key quality metrics, including patient satisfaction, clinical outcomes, and hospital performance indicators.
- Collaborate with clinical leaders to identify opportunities for improving processes and reducing variations in care delivery.
- Provide leadership and guidance to interdisciplinary teams focused on quality and patient safety initiatives. This includes risk management, infection control and clinical informatics.
- Implement training programs to educate hospital staff on quality improvement methodologies, patient safety practices, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Monitor and ensure the hospital’s compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as accreditation standards.
- Prepare reports for hospital leadership on the performance of quality improvement initiatives, patient safety issues, and compliance with national benchmarks.
- Develop and manage the hospital’s policies and procedures related to quality assurance, infection control, patient safety, and risk management.
