The PM Housekeeping Supervisor at American Airlines – The Landing at Skyview 6 is responsible for supervising and supporting the day-to-day operation of the housekeeping department during assigned shift while ensuring the cleanliness of the guest rooms, public washrooms, corridors, lobby, public areas and hotel offices, safeguarding that all housekeeping activities are carried out professionally, to standards, and at the highest level of service.

- Approach all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Maintain a professional, warm, and friendly working relationship and promote open lines of communication with managers, team members and other departments.
- Use proper two-way radio and/or cell phone etiquette when communicating with other team members.
- Ensures that all housekeeping carts are stocked with proper supplies.
- Ensures that all equipment is distributed to the Room Attendants & Public Space Attendants and maintained in proper operating order.
- Ensures that all supply closets are stocked.
- Follows up on Room Attendant assignments daily.
- Inspects and updates status of all guest rooms and areas assigned.
- Updates status of ready rooms in property management system as soon as they become available.
- Turns in discrepancies with front desk daily before the end of shift.
- Turns in maintenance requests daily.
- Participate in cleaning all public restrooms, offices & classrooms throughout the property removing trash, vacuuming and dusting as necessary.
- Participates in general cleaning tasks.
- Inspects and updates status of all areas assigned.
- Follows up on housekeeping assignments daily.
- Trains and follows up on Public Space Attendants.
- Maintains cleanliness and orderly conduct on floors.
- Provides visibility and assistance to guests and team members.
- Assists in cost control and payroll.
- Assists in maintaining supply inventories.
- Recommends changes in operating procedures of the department.
- Perform Lost & Found duties according to hotel standards.
- Communicates effectively with the Executive Housekeeper about activities progress and issues if any.
- This position requires a minimum formal education of a high school diploma and one year of job-related experience.
- Previous hotel/resort experience a plus.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English. Bi-lingual skills a plus but not required.
- Must be able to abide by the company appearance standards and compliance with the designated uniform.
- Dedicated to exceeding service standards and providing services and standards to the highest caliber.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively, effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds at all levels of the organization.
- A Monday - Sunday schedule that allows availability days, holidays, and weekends based on the demands of the hotel.
- Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend and use hands to handle objects, tools or controls.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. and work the majority of shift on feet.
