What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Inventory Specialist position at MCREE FORD INC?
Essential Duties
- Maintain the offering price of inventory throughout the prescribed 60-day lifecycle based on age, market conditions, and any additional costs to inventory.
- Assist the Used Vehicle Director in all aspects of merchandising inventory from acquisition to disposal
- Create an organized and measurable daily process to ensure that all pre-owned vehicles are priced and merchandised in a manner to create the most opportunity for turning the inventory in a timely and profitable fashion.
- Work with other employees within the department to coordinate an efficient stocking-in, servicing, reconditioning, and merchandising of inventory.
- Coordinate with other departments to expedite the needs of the used vehicle department
- Create RO’s in CDK.
- Assist with dispatching work to service lot coordinators.
- Monitor the Service Daily Log to efficiently coordinate work in process.
- Coordinate spotlight advertisement with vendors and ensure pricing is based on the market overview weighed by market day supply.
- Prepare wholesale documentation and monitor the market for opportunities to offload slow-moving inventory
- Assist the Used Vehicle Director with maintaining the appropriate supply of used vehicles based on lost sales, fast-turn vehicles, and sales history.
- Work with department team members to coordinate an efficient stocking-in, servicing, reconditioning, and merchandising of inventory.
- Coordinate with other departments to expedite the needs of the used vehicle department
