Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Calera, AL. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing tooling and fixtures for our production runs, ensuring high-quality outputs and efficient manufacturing processes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design and develop optimized machining programs for CNC mills and lathes using CAM software.
- Develop and manage the tool database, including data for different materials and machine tools.
- Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements.
- Collaborate with operators to resolve issues with CNC programs and part files.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience in a similar role.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Computer skills required, with experience in CAM software (Solidworks and Mastercam preferred).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
Working Conditions:
- The employee will be required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls regularly.
- The employee will frequently talk and hear, and occasionally reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Lifting and moving up to 10 pounds regularly, up to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Salary:
$65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
