Role Description
This is a full-time remote Accounting Assistant role. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for:
- Preparing financial statements and reports
- Utilizing accounting software, specifically QuickBooks Online
- Performing general accounting tasks, including reconciliations and journal entries
- Managing finances and maintaining accurate bookkeeping records
- Handling business and personal tax preparation
- Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and deadlines
- Assisting with financial analysis and reporting
This role requires a proactive, autonomous individual who can manage tasks efficiently and meet deadlines consistently.
Qualifications
- Strong financial statement preparation and general accounting skills
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and other accounting software
- Solid understanding of finance, bookkeeping principles, and tax preparation
- Experience in business and personal tax filing
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience with US accounting
