The Relationship Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a revenue generation strategy through the sale of sponsorships, exhibit space, and promotion of strategic business partnerships. This position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional sales skills, client relationship management expertise, and a keen eye for detail.

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, or equivalent work experience.
3-5 years of professional experience in sales, business development, communications, association, or related fields.
Attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Proven ability to work independently with minimal direction.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
Requirements
A valid driver’s license is required for this position.
Ability to attend functions beyond normal working hours, including occasional overnight travel.
Must be able to move items up to 20 lbs occasionally.
Position DescriptionBusiness Development Fulfillment
Assist Management in developing and maintaining relationships with strategic partner companies to support lead and revenue generation.
Build relationships with member credit unions to promote strategic partners and Association initiatives.
Manage pipeline and reporting efforts.
Plan and facilitate informational meetings / events, such as lunch and learns.
Sponsor, Exhibitor, Advertising Development
Develop and maintain relationships with industry providers to secure plans and packages designed to achieve revenue objectives through exhibitions, sponsorships, advertising and other opportunities.
Manage pre-event, on-site and post-event coordination and communication with exhibitors and sponsors.
Coordinate with marketing and events teams on logistics pertaining to exhibitors and sponsors as well as signage and other branded promotional / sponsored items.
Assist with invoicing & payments, maintaining proper records and reporting.
Maximize visibility and sponsor experience by providing value-added opportunities when appropriate and possible.
Maintain database of existing and prospective sponsor organizations.
Keep up with the latest industry info, advocacy updates, member spotlights and upcoming events.
