We are seeking an independent and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team and oversee patient care across multiple centers in New York. This is a part-time role (up to 20 hours/week) with the opportunity for growth as we expand in the region.

Position Overview
The Nurse Practitioner will play a crucial role in overseeing clinical operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality HBOT services, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations across multiple centers. This position requires a blend of advanced nursing practice, proficiency in hyperbaric medicine, and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person and telemedicine evaluations, crafting personalized HBOT treatment plans based on patient history, goals, and conditions.
- Serve as the clinical lead for patient care, ensuring safety, compliance, and optimal treatment outcomes across all centers.
- Collaborate with referring physicians and healthcare providers to integrate HBOT into patients’ comprehensive care plans.
- Provide guidance and support to center staff, consulting on complex cases and fostering seamless patient experiences.
- Monitor patient progress, review clinical data, and recommend improvements in protocols.
- Travel to New York Centers (including Westchester, Manhasset, and Manhattan) periodically to interact with the patients and staff.
- Stay at the forefront of hyperbaric medicine by completing CME-eligible training and keeping up with industry advancements.
Qualifications
- Licensure & Certification: Current NP license with full practice authority in New York. Connecticut licensure is a plus.
- Prescriptive Authority: Active New York State prescriptive authority, including for controlled substances.
- Board Certification: Board certification in a relevant specialty area (e.g. Family Health, Adult Gerontology Primary Care, or similar).
- Experience: At least 3,600 hours of clinical NP practice in New York.
- Skills: Leadership, decision-making, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
- Specialized Expertise: Interest in hyperbaric medicine and willingness to complete a 40-hour training program.
- Flexibility: Availability Monday-Friday with the ability to distribute hours as needed.
