What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Sales Representative-Dermatology position at MD Liaison Services Inc?
The Physician Liaison will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with referring physicians, primarily within primary care and dermatology. This role will focus on increasing patient referrals and fostering long-term partnerships to grow the dermatology groups network across the Chicago area (Lakeview / Chicago, Glenview and Lake Forest). The ideal candidate has strong interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of healthcare marketing, and a passion for connecting providers with high-quality dermatology care.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement outreach strategies to establish and maintain relationships with primary care, oncology, endocrinology, rheumatology, OBGYNs and pediatricians, as well as internal dermatologists.
- Identify new referral opportunities and strengthen existing referral sources to drive patient growth.
- Schedule and conduct in-person visits with referring providers to present the dermatology groups services and communicate patient care outcomes.
- Serve as the key point of contact for referring providers, addressing any questions or concerns about the dermatology groups services and patient referral processes.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and presentations tailored to primary care and other referral providers.
- Track and report on referral trends, outreach efforts, and physician engagement, providing regular updates to management.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dermatology services offered, patient care protocols, and industry trends.
- Schedule 2-4 physician lunch-and-learns and provider meet and greets to promote the dermatology groups services.
- 4-5 in person calls a day {Providers, nurses, ref. coordinator, OM etc.}, with commensurate supporting outreach (calls, emails, texts, etc)
