This position will join our team supporting the EcoInteractive business line, which is part of the GovTech division of SOVRA-brand products serving government customers.

EcoInteractive is the leading enterprise software provider to government transportation and environmental agencies. With 3,000 users and $3B tracked within our software, government agents use our SaaS cloud-based solutions to complete mission-critical workflows.

About The Job

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overall implementation success across three major categories –- on time, in scope, and with happy customers. This will require clear communication, organization, expectation setting, change/client management, and a deep understanding of technical implementations. You will be expected to work:

• Regularly with an implementation specialist. The implementation specialist has technical knowledge of how the system can be configured, how other clients have configured the system, and a basic to advanced background in the transportation planning industry. They will be responsible for data migration into and configuration of the system.
• On an as needed basis with product and/or development team on complex integrations or new feature sets required for client Go-Live.
  
  

What will your primary responsibilities look like?

In This Role, You Will Be Expected To

• Ensure timely and effective coordination of all stakeholders related to project implementation, including managing the technical implementation specialist for platform configuration/set-up and product/development for custom project requirements.
• Ensure the delivery of projects within budget and on time through proactive management of project status and issue resolution.
• Ensure an excellent relationship with clients.
• Ensure the completion of deliverables, manage schedules, manage customer expectations, meet milestones, and ensure customer and project success.
• Create implementation plans and manage project scope, schedule, and cost changes.
• Concise and professionally identify project challenges, risks, and resolution; have the ability to articulate and provide options and recommendations internally and externally with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Ensure the quality of project deliverables.
• Coordinate the client approval process for each project delivery.
• Create, maintain and execute key project management processes and KPIs for the management team.
• Gather, document, and validate requirements from the client’s key stakeholders.
  
  

What elements of your professional background will be necessary and valuable in this role?

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience (customer-facing positions, business analyst, implementation specialist, technical project management, etc.).
• 3 years in a senior project management role.
• Experience building, driving, and executing best practices around project management and implementation support strategies.
• Excellent technical knowledge of Enterprise SaaS solution configuration, system integration, API, data migration, etc.
• Experience in managing large and/or critical projects.
• Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams.
• PMP certification and/or MGP or MBA degree is an asset.
• Focused on results and customer satisfaction.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
• Smartsheet and Resource Allocation tools will be utilized for Project Management. Excellent command in these or similar (MS Project, Excel, etc.) tools is a must.
• Organized, able to take initiative and a team player.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies is an asset.
