Food Services Assistant
The MDI Biological Laboratory seeks a highly motivated seasonal Food Services Assistant to support all food service needs as planned for institutional courses, conferences, and events.
As a member of the food service team, the successful candidate will report to the Head Cook.
The seasonal Food Services Assistant will provide support in food preparation and cooking, service, and maintaining kitchen and dining areas across the MDI Biological Lab campus.
Applicants can choose from for a variety of work schedules (40 hours per week).
Expected employment May 15, 2025, thru September 30, 2025.
Required qualifications include Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and safety practices; basic knife skills, and the demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service to guests and staff.
Willingness to become Serve Safe certified.
Salary Range: $16 – $18/hour.
