FLOATING CLEANER – FULL TIME (FLOATING POSITION ACROSS MULTIPLE PROPERTIES)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Reports to: Property Managers & Regional Management Team
Location: Various MDI properties – Reliable transportation required

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable, flexible, and proactive Floating Cleaner to join our team! This full-time position is designed to support the cleaning needs across multiple properties, working closely with our existing cleaning teams and filling in where needed. If you love variety in your day-to-day and are comfortable traveling between different locations, this might be the perfect fit.

Essential Duties:

Daily Responsibilities (at assigned property):

• Walk properties each morning to remove litter, debris, cigarette butts, and pet waste from grounds, including bushes and grassy areas.
• Clean up and maintain pet waste stations; replenish doggy bags as needed.
• Clean and organize dumpster areas, breezeways, shops, garages, laundry rooms, and clubhouses.
• Assist with landscaping or physical tasks as directed.
• Keep work areas neat and return tools and equipment to their proper storage daily.
• Maintain a flexible schedule and ability to pivot to different properties on short notice.

Unit Turn Cleaning:

• Clean vacant units thoroughly, including appliances, bathrooms, cabinetry, windows, and floors.
• Remove cobwebs, sweep patios, and clean storage spaces.
• Work quickly and efficiently to meet turnaround timelines.
• Assist maintenance team with light repairs or cleanup as needed.
• Complete required documentation for each unit cleaned and follow up on any re-cleaning requests.

Requirements:

• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license – travel between properties is required daily.
• A cell phone for work-related communication.
• Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, kneel, bend, and work outdoors in all weather.
• Ability to work around cleaning products, adhesives, and paint fumes.
• Must be able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong time management and adaptability.
• Background check required upon hire.
