Job Description
We are looking for a HR Business Partner to join the HR team supporting the E3 / E3A / TLab Cluster of research institutes in the National University of Singapore, which currently comprises - Centre for Hydrogen Innovations (CHI), Mechanobiology Institute (MBI), NUS Environmental Research Institute (NERI), Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore (SERIS), Singapore Nuclear Research and Safety Initiative (SNRSI), and Temasek Laboratories. Duties and Responsibilities
- Partner and support the research institutes' heads / managers to manage, in a proactive and consultative approach, a full spectrum of HR functions which includes talent acquisition and appointment matters, performance appraisal and management, as well as talent management and development.
- Responsible for effective onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Assist in implementation of new policies and benefit programmes, and ensure changes to HR policies and procedures are administered and communicated timely to staff.
- Contact point for employee relations issues - assess the situation and provide advice to business units.
- Multi-task and be on top of daily operational tasks to ensure smooth delivery of services.
- Make decisions within areas of responsibilities.
- Brainstorm ideas for process improvement and translate them into plans and actions.
- Assist in process review projects and participate in other projects as assigned.
