Our Direct client is seeking a MFTS Developer for a 6 month contract (possible extension). Hybrid to Newark, NJ
- Oversee the end-to-end file transfer process including planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Provide L3 Support, serve as an escalation point for more junior team members to promptly resolve issues Develop automation and self-service mechanisms to reduce friction using the platform and ensure secure, efficient transfer of data between internal and external systems.
- Monitor performance, implement alerting, proactively resolve errors that arise through automation.
- Ensure security and compliance; conform to industry best practices and corporate policies to safeguard sensitive information from end-to-end.
- Experience engineering, developing, and supporting MFT solutions (we are a TIBCO shop but experience with other tools like IBM Sterling, File Gateway, connect: Direct, etc. will be considered
- Strong experience in protocols/ technologies such as FTP, SFTP, FTPS, SSH, SSL, HTTPS, AS2, and secure file transfer methodologies.
- Understanding of encryption algorithms (PGP, SFTP/SSH, etc.), secure file transfer practices, networking/network protocols, firewalls and how they interrelate with MFT.
