Job Title: Inside Sales
Schedule: Full Time
Work Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday

General Summary and Job Functions:
A hardworking and energetic Inside Sales Representative is needed to fill a position in our Grand Rapids area office. This opportunity is available for a team-oriented individual with a strong ability to accurately multitask. The successful candidate will be willing to go the extra mile to meet customer needs and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Answering customer phone calls and assisting walk-in customers
- Listening to customer needs and providing appropriate solutions
- Combining a rich product inventory knowledge with extensive know-how and a full commitment to keeping our customers moving
- Earning the trust and confidence of the customers we serve
- Providing support for outside sales staff
- Regular communication and price/lead time research and negotiation with suppliers
- Quote generation and follow-up
- Order entry and follow-up to ensure timely delivery
- Occasional shipping/receiving support if needed
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma
Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent time management skills in a setting with potential frequent interruptions
Ability to coordinate multiple concurrent projects and perform tasks in an organized and timely manner with careful attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and rubber power transmission products
Previous experience in an office setting
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
