Senior Project Coordinator

MDS Staffing is searching for a skilled Project Manager to oversee architectural metal projects from concept to completion.

Main Responsibilities:

• Coordinate project planning, execution, and delivery to meet client needs.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Verify compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.

Client & Stakeholder Interaction:

• Serve as primary liaison between clients, architects, contractors, and vendors.
• Regularly update stakeholders on project progress, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
• Facilitate meetings to synchronize project objectives with stakeholder expectations.

Collaboration & Team Effort:

• Partner with design and engineering teams to ensure design constructability and feasibility.
• Close coordination with fabricators, installers, and subcontractors to align project timelines and deliverables.
• On-site visits to address and resolve any emerging issues.

Budget Planning & Cost Management:

• Prepare and manage project budgets, adhering to financial constraints.
• Review and approve vendor quotes, material orders, and subcontractor bids.
• Track and report project costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings.

Quality Assurance & Risk Mitigation:

• Oversee quality assurance processes during fabrication and installation.
• Identify and mitigate project risks.
• Document all changes, approvals, and inspections properly.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (desired).
• 5 years of experience in project management, especially in architectural metals, metal fabrication, or a related industry.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
• Thorough understanding of metal materials, finishes, and fabrication techniques.
• Proficient in project management tools such as Excel, Trello, Procore, or similar software.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently under tight deadlines.

Desired Skills:

• PMP certification or equivalent.
• Familiarity with CAD software or other design tools.
