Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Thoroughly understands compliant EHR documentation requirements related to billing, HEDIS, Meaningful Use/PI, PCMH, and The Joint Commission.
- Focus on open training position in medical and clinical areas
- Familiar with MA/DA and Nurse clinic flows and Electronic Medical Records.
- Ability to train in a classroom setting, travel to sites for support and monthly training sessions.
- Ability to rotate on-call and weekends when upgrades or system issues occur.
- Possess Adult Learning techniques and vocational training skills necessary to facilitate effective communication and support in a clinical and non-clinical setting.

Description Of Primary Responsibilities
- Provides EHR training for clinical support staff.
- Trains new clinical support staff in the use of the EHR.
- Trains existing staff when new functionalities and upgrades are deployed.
- Develops lesson plans and tips for Front Office End User training.
- Conducts competency assessments on non-provider clinical staff.
- Maintains EHR knowledge through available e-learning resources.
- Participates in other EHR continuing education as needed or assigned.
- Provides feedback to other EHR training team members and supervisors as appropriate regarding learning feedback or performance problems.
- Assists in the development and dissemination of monthly updates or critical communications for front end users.
- Functions in a support role to the department and front end users.
- Troubleshoots end-user questions and problems.
- Helps design training materials, presentations, and plans.
- Helps identify ongoing or emerging training and development needs.
- Assists in the development and preparation of new clinical templates and documentation procedures.
- Assists in creating and updating job-specific EHR competency checklists.
- Shadows end-users to assist with documentation as needed.
- Participates in off hours call coverage for support of Electronic Health Record.

- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, frequently sit, and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Requires good hand-eye coordination, reach with arms & hands, and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and manipulate (using keyboard, office equipment).
- Visual acuity to use keyboard, operate office equipment, and read printed material and regularly required to talk and hear.
