MDVIP, based in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Financial Analyst who will evaluate physician financial data to develop breakeven analyses, affiliate financial analyses and other related analyses related to the retention of affiliated physicians, recruitment of prospective physicians, and retiring physicians. This role will also work with internal and external teams to develop viable business plans and assists with special projects, when necessary. This role reports to the Sr. Manager, Financial Services and supports the Physician Services team.

Responsibilities
- Gather data and conduct a thorough analysis of medical practice P&L statements to prepare financial analysis reports and breakeven analyses for physicians.
- Work with sales team to obtain additional information needed to ensure data integrity and meet requirements of the deliverable. Evaluate suggested modeling strategy to develop breakeven and other financial analyses and reviews with manager any concerns identified.
- Attend weekly Affiliation Review Committee (ARC) meetings to provide additional information and support to the sales team and ARC committee.
- Develop and document procedures for analyzing data.

Qualifications
Education / Experience / Knowledge
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in Accounting or Finance and at least three year’s related business experience performing similar work; or equivalent combination of education and experience where two years related experience equals one year of schooling. Prior public accounting experience and/or accounting skills used in a medical practice or hospital decision support department is desired.
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge and understanding of profit/loss statements.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Corporate office role: As a corporate based role in Boca Raton, FL, employees are expected to work from the corporate office.
