MDW Associates is seeking a Senior Qualification Test Engineer (SME level is acceptable too) to support STRIKE Test and Evaluation Team full-time on-site in Huntsville, Alabama.
The Senior Qualification Test Engineer may perform a combination of some or all of the following duties :
- Responsible for designing and executing Qualification test plans to validate the functionality and quality of complex Army missile systems
- Lead and support component, subsystem, and system-level qualification testing; test types may include Environmental, EMI / EMC, Safety, Human Factors, Live Fire
- Evaluate systems to ensure they meet military standards (MIL-STD)
- Identify potential weapon system issues and defects by performing tests on the system's features
- Report findings to ensure the final product meets specifications, working closely with development teams across the product lifecycle
- The travel estimate for this role is 25%
- This position involves physically climbing on top of military vehicles and weapon systems
