Position Responsibilities:
Requirements:
Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. This is a full-time position in Huntsville, Alabama. Travel is 25%. The position is onsite 5 days a week. This position requires an active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
- Responsible for designing and executing Qualification test plans to validate the functionality and quality of complex Army missile systems
- Lead and support component, subsystem, and system-level qualification testing; test types may include Environmental, EMI/EMC, Safety, Human Factors, Live Five
- Evaluate systems to ensure they meet military standards (MIL-STD)
- Identify potential weapon system issues and defects by performing tests on the system’s features
- Report findings to ensure the final product meets specifications, working closely with development teams across the product lifecycle
- This position involves climbing on top of military vehicles and weapon systems
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10 years test and evaluation experience
- 2 years’ experience in weapon system qualification testing (can be part of the 10 years above)
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
