Plant Engineer

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Plant Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a stable employment history and strong background in mechanical engineering, with a focus on project engineering for Capex as well as manufacturing operations to include production, quality, and environmental focus areas. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the growth and success of our company.

Duties:

• Design and develop manufacturing capex and capacity projects including schematics and designs using relevant software.
• Plan and coordinate production projects, including scheduling and budgeting.
• Collaborate with production teams to optimize manufacturing processes, improve product quality, and reduce costs.
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of plant equipment, including welding and assembly line setup.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform root cause analysis to prevent future issues.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of tooling and other equipment.
• Provide technical support to plant operators and maintenance personnel.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards.
• Develop and implement process improvements, including the design and development of new tooling and equipment.
• Create and maintain accurate records of plant equipment and production processes.

Experience:

• Five plus years proven experience as a Plant Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including CAD design and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with project planning, budgeting, and management.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field preferred.

Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
