Mead & Hunt is currently looking for a Construction Inspector 1 in the Northeast Wisconsin region.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing support services on transportation construction engineering projects throughout the Northeast Region in Wisconsin
- Monitoring construction activities
- Conducting inspections
- Performing contract administration tasks
- Other duties as assigned
Travel to construction sites is an essential function of this position; valid driver's license is required, as well as extended hours and overnight stays.
The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:
- An Associate's Degree in Construction Management or related filed from an accredited college or university
- A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university is preferred
- At least two years of relevant work experience
- WisDOT highway and bridge construction project experience
- Experience with construction management software (FieldManager or AASHTOWare)
- Experience with AutoCAD or Civil3D
- EIT certification or PE license
- Certifications relevant to WisDOT construction
