What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager - Federal Facilities position at Mead & Hunt?
Mead & Hunt, an award-winning national architecture and engineering firm, has continued to exceed our strategic growth initiatives creating opportunity for our current and prospective team members. As a result, a full-time position is available for an architecture project manager. This position would lead project teams focused on delivering architecture, engineering and planning services for federal defense and / or laboratory facilities.
Responsibilities include leading project teams; developing scopes, fees, contracts and subcontracts; tracking and monitoring scopes, schedules, budgets and fees for small to large projects; scheduling and facilitating team and client meetings; building new and maintaining current client relationships; supporting market leaders in strategically expanding business opportunities with federal agencies; developing and delivering presentations to clients. As a national practice, this position is expected to travel up to 25%.
The successful candidate must have the following :
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in architecture from an accredited college or university or degree in a field relevant to leading building projects
- At least 7 years of relevant experience of which two must be at the project manager level
