We are seeking a responsible and experienced Delivery Driver/Yard Associate to safely transport building materials to customer jobsites while providing top-notch service. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to operate a manual transmission. You’ll also assist with loading and unloading materials, maintaining a clean and organized yard, and ensuring smooth daily operations so ability to operate forklift or willingness to learn is a must.
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver materials to customers on time.
- Load and unload trucks according to order specifications.
- Ensure accurate deliveries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Follow all safety regulations and conduct routine vehicle inspections.
- Assist with yard organization, inventory management, and cleanup.
- Properly document merchandise returns and maintain accurate records.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all types of weather.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to drive a manual transmission (stick shift required).
- Experience in delivery driving or warehouse operations preferred.
- Strong map-reading skills and ability to follow directions.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently.
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs regularly.
