Meade Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Senior Commissioning Engineer to lead the commissioning of mission-critical data center electrical and mechanical equipment systems for a world-class technology company. This role involves overseeing the commissioning process for power generation and distribution systems, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), automatic transfer switches (ATS), power distribution units (PDUs), medium voltage switchgear, HVAC systems, chillers, cooling towers, and other mechanical infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical power systems or equivalent industry experience, coupled with excellent communication and leadership skills. This position requires travel to Austin, TX; Dallas, TX; Atlanta, GA; Grand Rapids, MI; Reno, NV; Las Vegas, NV, with a travel requirement of at least 65%.

Job Duties
- Develop, oversee, and write commissioning policies, scripts, and procedures.
- Validate equipment installations and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct construction observations and develop comprehensive test plans.
- Execute testing for a variety of electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring adherence to specifications.
- Review and analyze data, preparing technical reports based on findings.
- Evaluate design documents and equipment submittals.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical operational issues during commissioning.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior-level commissioning engineers, fostering their professional development and technical expertise.
- Minimum 5 years of electrical and/or mechanical commissioning experience, preferably in data centers.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred, but other engineering disciplines, a two-year technical degree, military training, or equivalent industry experience will be considered. Strong leadership in dynamic and ambiguous construction environments. Exceptional organizational, written, and oral communication skills.

- Cx Alloy knowledge and experience preferred.
