Meade Engineering, Inc. is seeking an innovative and strategic Director of Technology & IT to lead the company's technology strategy, IT operations, hardware systems, software development, and security infrastructure. This multifaceted leadership role drives the firm's digital transformation and ensures seamless integration of all technology components to support business growth, operational efficiency, and the delivery of MEP design and engineering services. The Director will play a pivotal role in aligning technology initiatives with the company's strategic objectives while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Job Duties:
- Develop and execute a company-wide technology strategy that integrates IT operations, hardware, software development, and cybersecurity to support business growth and efficiency.
- Lead IT, hardware, software development, and security teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee IT infrastructure and cloud solutions, ensuring scalability, security, disaster recovery, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage hardware systems lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, upgrades, and decommissioning, while ensuring system integration and performance.
- Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies to protect IT and physical security systems, manage incident response, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Lead software development initiatives to create, optimize, and integrate custom applications with tools like CAD and BIM, enhancing operational efficiency.
- Drive digital transformation by adopting emerging technologies like AI, machine learning, IoT, and cloud computing to enhance project workflows and outcomes.
- Collaborate with MEP design teams, engineers, and cross-functional departments to identify and address technology needs that optimize project delivery.
- Manage IT budgets and resource allocation, ensuring cost-effective investments in hardware, software, and security systems.
- Lead training and change management efforts, ensuring smooth adoption of new hardware, software, and security solutions across the organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 7 years of experience in technology leadership roles with expertise in IT operations, hardware management, software development, and security systems.
- Proven experience managing IT operations, cloud infrastructure, and hardware systems to ensure scalability and security.
- Hands-on experience with software development, including Agile methodologies, system integration, and lifecycle management.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity practices, including risk management, incident response, and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with MEP design and engineering tools such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM systems.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing technology within an engineering, architecture, or construction firm.
- Familiarity with IT and physical security system integration, including cloud-based solutions.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, PMP, ITIL, or Agile/Scrum certifications.
