Job Description
We are seeking a Full-Time Payroll Administrator to join our team in Illinois. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a growing local company and requires previous experience, but it's not mandatory.
- Responsible for payroll processing for employees working in multiple states.
- Process employee withholding tax changes, garnishments, and tax levies.
- Review payrolls to ensure compliance.
- Provide great customer service to internal customers (employees).
- Conduct union benefit reports for multiple unions.
- Ensure proper maintenance of payroll records.
- Perform other duties assigned by Office Manager.
Job Requirements
- Some experience preferred.
- Associate's Degree in Accounting is preferred.
- Must be self-motivated, driven, and able to multitask.
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suites (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Will need to work a few hours on a holiday weekend as needed.
- Will to work some overtime as needed.
Experience
- Payroll: 2 years (preferred).
- Union payroll experience is a plus.
