What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Transportation Driver position at Meadowbrook Rehabilitation Hospital?
POSITION SUMMARY: Safely transport patients, residents, members, and/or employees to and from the service location during approved activities to pre-determined destinations.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
9. Performs other duties as requested.
SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL/VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
4. Must provide verification of TST (tuberculin skin test) as required by state law and in accordance with company policy. TSTs will be administered at the work site if required.
5. CPR Certified.
JOB SKILLS:
1. Excellent driving record and be safety conscious.
2. Strong oral and written communication skills.
3. Compassionate individual capable of rendering physical assistance, as needed.
4. Ability to positively interact with personnel, patients, residents, members, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.

1. Interacts with patients, residents, members, families, visitors, service location and Recover-Care subsidiary personnel.
2. Carries out other tasks as requested in situations where hands-on intervention/participation may be required.
