What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatcher/Customer Service position at Meagan Auto,Truck & Equipment Specilist's?
We are looking for a reliable, responsible Dispatch Operations Representative, with good communication skills responsible for managing all aspects of dispatch operations including but not limited to:
- Receiving and dispatching roadside assistance jobs
- Monitoring and communicating with a fleet of tow truck drivers via GPS software
- Receiving incoming calls from insurance companies and customers
- Handling customer concerns and requests for information in an expeditious and professional manner
- Calling insurance companies for clarification about jobs
- Documenting conversations and situations for each job appropriately
- Email management
- Problem solving in a professional manner
- Assure all policies and procedures are followed
- Other duties as needed
The ideal candidate should be able to multitask, must be detail oriented and able to develop a strong working relationship with fellow team members, drivers, vendors and customers.
Requirements/ Qualifications:
- English/ Bilingual Preferred
- **RELIABLE MEANS OF TRANSPORTATION** MUST BE WILLING TO COMMUTE
- Excellent computer and customer service skills
- Dispatching experience preferred
- Effectively manage time and multi-task with minimal supervision
- Technology savoy/ Knowledge of basic computer programs (e.g. google drive)
- Must be organized
- General knowledge of geographic locations within Connecticut and surrounding states/ cities preferred

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Every weekend
