We are looking to fill a Quality Coordinator (Quality Assurance/Quality Control, QA/QC) position at Mears Broadband, LLC. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the quality and accuracy of telecom construction projects. You’ll have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team, overseeing field surveys, reviewing digital maps, and implementing quality standards. Essential duties:
- Creating quality processes and training processes
- Oversee and monitor the inspection and review surveys and designs to ensure quality standards
- Maintain high level production rates to meet our client needs
- Review footage that are associated with field mapping notes, digitalizing routing maps and design maps
- Record and document results and findings
- Participates in design of call monitoring formats and quality standards
- Other responsibilities as required
Key Qualifications
- 2 years of QA/QC audit experience
- Knowledge of underground and aerial telecom construction methods
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in Microsoft Office, such as: Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Detail oriented
- Ability to prioritize and manage activities for multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to analyze information
- Must be able to collect, gather, visualize, and analyze data in detail
- Good communicative and interpersonal skills required.
- The physical activity for this role includes:
- Travel as needed for site visits
- Manual dexterity, typing, computer and small equipment use
- Standing, walking, and sitting for long periods
- Site visits in a range of weather conditions, including hot and cold weather
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
