We’re seeking a proactive operations leader to oversee asset management and support services in San Antonio. The Operations Support Manager provides leadership across purchasing, fleet, yard operations, and facilities, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Essential Duties
- Lead by example in upholding safety as a core value across all operations.
- Foster a team culture focused on safe work practices, environmental responsibility, and risk reduction
- Provide leadership to the San Antonio Operations Support Team, overseeing Purchasing, Fleet Management, Shipping & Receiving, Grounds & Maintenance, and Yard Operations.
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in asset management operations.
- Plan and forecast maintenance and improvement expenses for the San Antonio
- Manage competitive bid processes for major asset purchases and services, maintaining clear and accurate bid documentation.
- Ensure effective communication with leadership, accounting, and other key stakeholders.
- Support and participate in approved continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive efficient project planning for operations support efforts.
Key Qualifications
- 4 years of fleet or asset related experience
- History of managing employees and processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- A self-starter able to handle multiple projects and tasks
- The physical activity for this role includes:
- Manual dexterity, typing, computer and handling paper files
- Standing, bending, and sitting
- Occasionally lifting products and supplies up to 50 pounds
- Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
