Work and Assists with Employee Relations (ER)Under general supervision, interprets, implements, and provides direction to staff on Bryten policy and proceduresAnswers employee / management requests and questions thoroughly and within the 24 hours turnaround timelineAssists with the performance review and termination document filing processesAssists in maintaining current electronic HR filesProvides clerical assistance to the department as neededAssist team members in ways that optimize proceduresMaintains records related to grievances, performance reviews, and disciplinary actionsPerforms file audits to ensure that all required employee documentation is collected and maintainedAssists with Worker’s Compensation (WC)Assist Asset Directors with HR related training and projects as neededAssist Sr. Director of HR and Sr. HR Manager with special projects as assignedMaintain regular punctuality and attendanceReports to the Senior Human Resources ManagerWorks in harmony and collaboratively with Employees, Clients, Community Management, Directors, Carriers, Brokers and Senior LeadershipParticipates in planning and developing department goals, objectives, company policies and procedures, and creates recommendations for improvementParticipates in administrative staff meetings as requestedThis remote position requires general office hours EST (Mon – Fri) ; some evenings and / or weekends are required to complete project work and meet deadlines. The ideal candidate must be able to carry out the same duties, assignments, and all work obligations at their home office free from distraction and in accordance with policy.
As the ideal candidate, your background includes :
Bachelor’s degree in management, Human Resources or a related field desired; SHRM or HRCI certification preferredMinimum of two (2) years Human Resources experienceBilingual preferred but not requiredMust have office space setting away from distractionsPossess effective facilitation skills to manage conflict and resolve disputesMust be adept at problem‐solving, including being able to identify issues and resolve programs in a timely mannerMust be able to communicate clearly, both written and orally, ability to communicate with employees, members of the Management team, and in group presentations and meetingsMust be able to effectively read and interpret information, present numerical data in a resourceful manner, and skillfully gather and analyze informationMust be able to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficientlyMust be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for qualityMust be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and must be able to improve performance through management feedbackMust have a valid Driver's License, current automobile insurance and reliable transportation.Background and credit check, pre-employment drug screening, and employment verification required.Bryten complies with federal and state disability laws and makes reasonable accommodations for applicants and employees with disabilities.
