- Foster a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to elevate productivity, reduce labor costs, and enhance overall quality.
- Ensure timely delivery of quality coated parts to meet customer expectations and business objectives.
- Establish and maintain procedures for powder coat paint line-related equipment, tooling, and materials.
- Oversee the onboarding and training of new employees, ensuring they are well-versed with operational and safety protocols.
- Monitor, evaluate, and provide constructive feedback to the team to boost morale and performance.
- Work with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with all organizational levels.
- Adhere to and enforce both internal and external quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Powder Coating Tech experience preferred.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience with a degree, or 3 years of leadership experience in powder coat/paint operations, or 5 years of supervisory experience without a degree.
- Previous experience in the production and maintenance of powder coat/paint lines for optimal quality and operational performance is advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
- Demonstrated ability in team building, promoting employee engagement, and strengthening inter-departmental collaboration.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- This position may require flexibility in hours to ensure operational efficiency across shifts.
