Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborers to join our team. As a Construction Laborer, you will play a crucial role in various construction projects, assisting skilled tradespeople and ensuring that work sites are safe and organized. This position requires 2 or more years construction experience. Restaurant construction experience a strong plus. Able to work days and nights. Valid ID or Texas Driver's License with own transportation. Must be both reliable and dependable.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris and setting up necessary equipment.
- A team player with leadership abilities.
- Able to read and understand blueprints a strong plus.
- Good communication.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- commercial remodel experience a plus.
- Basic carpentry knowledge, experience with hand tools required.
- Operate basic construction tools and equipment under supervision.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Help with the installation of structures and fixtures as directed by supervisors.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas throughout the project.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
- Previous experience in construction or a related field.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and standing for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced workers.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Reliable transportation to job sites is essential.
