Inside Sales Account Representative/Team Member
Job Description:
As the account representative, your job is to plan, oversee and document all aspects of specific accounts. Account representative should have a solid background in business skills, organization, and time management.
Responsibilities
- Manage organization of all equipment sales orders and record information on order status reports.
- Review all order information and identify necessary corrections.
- Identifying, logging, and communicating most up to date product vendor shipping lead times.
- Keep track of offsite inventory and schedule deliveries as necessary.
- Keep up with ordering extended warranties and filing claims as necessary.
- Keep track of serial numbers assigned to buildings and ship to locations.
- Keep up with latest schedules and order dates and shift orders as needed.
- Establish and maintain relationships with customer, vendors, and freight companies.
- Follow up, communicate, and work closely with vendors and freight companies to finalize shipping dates and tracking information.
- Record order tracking information on company database.
- Resolve external customer’s shipment concerns, questions and issues as they arise.
- Coordinate with the Inside and Outside Sales departments on current status of equipment orders, shipment delays, and order corrections or deletions.
- Keep track of Sales overflow inventory as well as GPS inventory including pulling and shipping units and making units are invoiced.
- Provide Order Entry assistance to the Inside Sales department on an as needed basis.
Requirements
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Mandatory organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Must be proactive and capable of working autonomously, taking ownership of tasks from start to finish.
- Good analytical skills to recognize and solve problems in a timely manner.
- Understand certain HVAC technical language and vernacular.
