Payroll / Accounts Payable Specialist

MD&A is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to support our growing business. The position is located at our IGT Division in San Antonio, Texas.

Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Oversee the timely and accurate processing of weekly payroll.
• Provide periodic payroll support to shop managers and cell leads.
• Responsible for timely processing of vendor invoices following standard operating procedures and policies. Verify work product to ensure accuracy of payments to suppliers.
• Report daily, weekly and monthly Accounts Payable activity.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of vendor accounts. Identify outstanding invoices and take corrective actions.
• Support implementation of auto-AP software tool, documenting new process and procedures.
• Provide support to Administrative Assistant with new vendor set-up and maintenance of existing vendor records, including contact information, payment terms, and tax details.
• Review employee expense reports, verifying expenses comply with travel and expense policy.

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent required
• Minimum 3 years’ experience
• Works independently in a fast-paced environment
• Organized and possesses high attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills and maintains a high degree of confidentiality
• Experience working in multi-location environments
• Self-identifies areas of need and takes initiative
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience using an ERP system (Epicor/Kinetic or SAP), Paylocity or ADP, and Concur
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus
