Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee our accounts payable processes and ensure accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and payments. This role is critical in maintaining strong relationships with vendors, optimizing payment processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management:
- Lead and mentor the accounts payable team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Set clear goals, monitor team performance, and provide ongoing training and development.
- Accounts Payable Operations:
- Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice receipt, coding, approval, and payment.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, credit memos, and payments.
- Reconcile accounts payable ledger and ensure accurate reporting.
- Vendor Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Resolve payment discrepancies and respond to vendor inquiries promptly.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate accounts payable processes.
- Implement best practices to improve efficiency and reduce processing errors.
- Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOX controls, and applicable regulations.
- Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports for management.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in accounts payable, including 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes, systems, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Certification in accounting or finance (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
- Familiarity with automated accounts payable solutions and expense management software.
- Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
