What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Analyst position at Mechanical Services & Design Inc?
The Data Analyst is responsible for completing project-based work as assigned. The Data Analyst supports the total quality effort by identifying and responding to the needs of internal and external customers 100% of the time.
Key Job Duties
- Communicate with appropriate team members to complete projects.
- Review, create, and update reporting and dashboards utilizing required system.
- Review Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation and update where appropriate.
- Proactively communicates with Supervisor around reporting and dashboard needs.
- Work with team to develop clear and concise standard operating procedures for system usage and documents systems functionality.
- Produce required reporting as needed on a project by project basis in systems such as: Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and/or Power Automate .
- Produce required scripting with data mining tools and techniques, such as SQL, R, Python, etc. on a project basis.
- Partners with the Business Systems and Facilities Analyst, management, and business process owners to plan and execute on reporting and dashboard needs.

- High School Diploma/GED preferred
- 1 years general IT work experience or related degree
- Ability to use office productivity software, such as Microsoft office products
- Able to clearly communicate clearly in written and verbal English
- Able to multitask efficiently
- US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status required
