Job Purpose
The Digital Marketing Specialist will be instrumental in boosting online presence and engaging our target audience for the organization. This roll will manage email campaigns, create compelling blog content, oversee social media platforms, and run digital advertisements. Working closely with the Marketing Manager, the Digital Marketing Specialist will help develop and implement effective marketing strategies using tools like Marketo, Kentico, and Salesforce.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and analyze email marketing campaigns through Marketo, targeting healthcare professionals and stakeholders
- Segment email lists for personalized communication to maximize engagement
- Monitor and report on campaign performance metrics, including open rates and click-through rates
- Create, edit, and publish insightful blog content that showcases our expertise in healthcare technology
- Conduct keyword research and optimize blog posts for SEO to increase visibility
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather insights and develop relevant topics.
- Develop and manage content for our social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.) to engage with our community
- Interact with followers, respond to inquiries, and foster a positive online presence
- Monitor social media trends and analytics to refine our strategy
- Assist in creating and managing digital advertising campaigns (Google Ads, social media ads, etc.) targeting healthcare audiences
- Track campaign performance and optimize for better results based on data insights.
- Collaborate on creative assets and messaging for ads
- Assist in developing and executing the overall marketing strategy for Med-Metrix
- Leverage Salesforce to track and analyze leads and customer engagement
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to inform marketing decisions
- Help coordinate marketing projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with company goals
- Use, protect and disclose patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards
- Understand and comply with Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures at all times
- Limit viewing of PHI to the absolute minimum as necessary to perform assigned duties
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 2 years’ experience in digital marketing, particularly in email, content creation, social media, and digital advertising
- Familiarity with Marketo, Kentico, and Salesforce is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization
- Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Gracious and welcoming personality for customer service interaction
