This position is 95% remote! An infrequent need to be present in the office may take place depending on operational needs, so we are only seeking candidates near Irwindale, CA. A temporary asset might be at the office to start 1 day per week. Then, that will diminish to once every few weeks. We are seeking a Healthcare Payment Poster II for an initial 6-month contract. Pay: $28.50/hour
Shift: 8:00am to 4:30pm PST

Required Qualifications:
3 years minimum and MUST have ‘Insurance collection/ credits’ experience using EPIC for the same time frame.
HS diploma or equivalent.
Position Description:
Responsible for reviewing, managing, and resolution of overpaid balances owed to a healthcare provider. Strong knowledge of contracts, claim review and Insurance benefit review. Applicant will be interacting with insurance companies to verify coverage, review of submitted claims, claim status, taking appropriate actions to appeal. Acting as a bridge between the healthcare provider, and insurance company to ensure timely and accurate resolution of overpaid accounts. Adhering to HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and ensuring accurate billing practices according to industry standards.
