- Position Summary :
- Responsibilities :
- Assist the Occupational Therapist in carrying out treatment plans tailored to residents' needs.
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to help residents achieve their functional goals.
- Monitor residents’ progress and report observations to the Occupational Therapist.
- Educate residents and caregivers on exercises, adaptive techniques, and equipment usage.
- Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver comprehensive resident care.
- Support and motivate residents throughout their rehabilitation journey.
- Qualifications :
- Graduate of an accredited Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a COTA.
- Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (preferred but not required).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide residents with the support they need to regain independence and improve their daily living skills.
