We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join the rehabilitation team at a top-tier Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) .
Position Summary :
As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide residents with the support they need to regain independence and improve their daily living skills.
Responsibilities :
Assist the Occupational Therapist in carrying out treatment plans tailored to residents' needs.
Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to help residents achieve their functional goals.
Monitor residents' progress and report observations to the Occupational Therapist.
Educate residents and caregivers on exercises, adaptive techniques, and equipment usage.
Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver comprehensive resident care.
Support and motivate residents throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Qualifications :
Graduate of an accredited Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a COTA.
Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (preferred but not required).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Job Types : Full-time, Contract
Pay : $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
