The Role and Team:
A phenomenal opportunity exists within Medallia’s People & Culture Team as we are looking for a People Operations Analyst.
The People Operations Analyst will gain exposure to different areas of the organization based on business need and personal career interest by supporting the full-cycle employee experience, from hire to retire. The People Operations Analyst will support the implementation of the day-to-day processes of People Operations programs and projects. This includes coordination, data processing, information management, and stakeholder support. As a member of the People and Culture team, this role will partner with cross functional teams and internal stakeholders to understand business objectives, design, build, implement, and maintain solutions to help Medallia achieve its objectives.

NOTE - We will be prioritizing candidates in US Pacific or Mountain Time Zone.
Responsibilities
- Process post-offer transactions including background checks, hire transactions, global right to work/I-9s, start date changes.
- Enter contingent workforce transactions in Workday
- Initiate IT equipment and account provisioning for new hires
- Send new hire welcome communications
- Initiate transfers and relocations for new hires and employees
- Process employee and HR Business Partner requests supporting the employee lifecycle including employee/job data changes, transfers, promotions, terminations, time off adjustments, contingent worker extensions
- Audit Workday data for accuracy and consistency
- Escalate process and data inconsistencies
- Meet SLAs for transaction processing
- Support ad hoc projects and reports
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years working with Workday and Case Management (ServiceNow)
- Demonstrated Human Resources experience
- Moderate HR Policy and Process Knowledge
- Demonstrated experience in processing employee lifecycle events and processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Past experience in a supporting role within an People Operations or demonstrated Human Resources experience
- Experience communicating and following up with New Hires, Hiring Managers with regards to questions related to pre onboarding.
Medallia is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $53,500 - $75,000. Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline and combines all of the distinct labor markets within the US. It is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on a variety of factors. Medallia considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, candidate’s work location, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as, market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.
