Services Overview:
This service primarily supports all projects and partnership management activities as assigned within the scope of the Data Science External Innovation group, and other functions as applicable. The service will be required to provide finance, budget and resourcing support, schedule applicable meetings, take minutes, compile spend plans, drive tracking and accruals, and work closely with both the Data External Innovation Team as well as the broader research and development Data Science team. This service is expected to maintain an awareness of SOWs, invoices, licenses, projects and contracts.
Deliverables:
· Services rendered will adhere to applicable client SOPs, WIs, policies, local regulatory requirements, etc.
· Supports tracking, organizing, and running joint team meetings, leadership briefings and meeting minutes
· Maintains regular, relevant, organized, clear and timely communication between internal and external stakeholders
· Cultivates and maintains productive and positive relationships with internal partners and external collaborators
· Tracks and monitors timelines and activities to ensure alignment with target dates for projects
· Provide support to define and maintain optimal project management for all assigned projects
· Provide communication on progress, opportunities, and issues along with identification and recommended remediation for bottle necks
· Help to identify opportunities for and provide Continuous Improvement oversight and management of
o Best Practices
o Processes
o Lessons Learned/Risk Management
o Operational enhancements
· Maintain close relationship with cross functional stakeholders, and maintain an awareness of current issues in the department
ADVANCED LEVEL:
· Continually assess new emerging practices to optimize operational efficiencies
· Independently maintain relationships with key stakeholders and vendors
· Primary interfaces: Provider Functional Manager, client Point of Contact
· Other Interfaces: Cross-functional teams (e.g. procurement, legal etc.), external partners, Central Operations team, others as applicable….
Education and Experience Requirements/Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree (University degree) or equivalent education / relevant experience required
· At least 2 years operational experience in Alliance Management OR Project Management in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, contract research organization (CRO) or related environment
