NOC Server Analyst
On-site Louisville, KY
Shift: Sunday – Saturday 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM. (Rotating weekends – 5 days a week)

Job Description:
This entry-level position encompasses responsibilities which ensure the logical and physical assets of the data center, as well as to ensure operations of the computer systems contained within. This position will be responsible for: Monitoring physical access to the data center; Monitoring and mitigation of the health and availability of the systems and infrastructure we support; Monitoring application functionality; Communication of network and environmental issues which may affect the network connectivity.
Experience/Skills needed:
- Must come from a technical background. IT experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, and stressful environment.
- Candidate will have the skills needed for effective communication, within all levels of the organization.
- The candidate will have the skills necessary to monitor, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve, issues pertaining to our network infrastructure, servers, and storage environments.
- Having a working knowledge of the various Operating Systems such as: Linux, AIX, and Windows Server, is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years in a Server-Network Troubleshooting environment preferred.
- Preferred prior experience in a Network Operations Center.
Preferred Qualifications
- Windows and Linux Administration Skills
- Event log troubleshooting
- Windows Update/Patch Management
- Monitoring applications (Nagios, SMARTS, IP Monitor, etc)
Certifications/Educational Experience Preferred:
- A , Network minimum certification within 6 mo.
- Associates degree in IT-related field, or 5 years in an IT-type position.
Job Duties:
- Windows Patching/Update Reboots
- Problem Management
- Provisioning accounts within the environment.
- Backup monitoring/Restart failed backup jobs, and restores
- Citrix environment support (end user session lockout, server reboots, etc.)
- NAS file recovery
- Phishing/SPAM email remediation
- vSphere/blade center server management
- NOC prior experience *desired*
