In this role you will be reporting directly to the Director of Finance and Strategy and have an opportunity to build out new analytical tools to support our Commercial team. You will drive visibility to the financial performance of our customer portfolio, by conducting margins, price / volume / mix and investment decision analysis. You will be an important part of the decision process around new customer quoting to achieve the best margins and drive revenue optimization. Summary of Function :
The Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the Commercial team with customer performance analysis, quoting, margin analysis, sales incentives management, quarterly forecast and annual budget, as well as developing and providing insightful consolidated financial reporting and analysis for Medbio LLC.
Major Duties and Responsibilities :
- Work closely with Commercial / Sales teams to analyze sales and customer performance.
- Conduct regular analysis of current margins and pricing, and work with the Commercial team to improve profitability.
- Develop and implement volume / price / mix reporting and analysis.
- Manage sales incentives compensation plan.
- Provide recommendations on margins for newly quoted business requiring new capital investments.
- Implement standard reporting tools; develop dashboards and common reports to provide enhanced data management and analytics.
- Responsible for consolidation of actual results, developing forecasts and budgets for sales, consolidating total forecasts by working with different areas of the business.
- Projects as needed.
Organizational Relationships :
The Business Analyst reports to the Finance Director and works closely with Commercial and Operations teams.
